Private, operator-controlled use
Terms of use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Shorts Factory is operated privately by the owner of mphra.nl to prepare and review original short videos for the operator’s channels. These public pages explain that workflow. They do not provide a public hosted application, account-registration service or an offer to publish videos for other people.
Authorized use
The local application is for use by its operator and people the operator authorizes. Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Do not attempt to obtain another person’s credentials, bypass access controls, evade platform restrictions or use the workflow for unlawful or misleading activity.
Review before publication
Generated scripts, narration, captions and graphics require review. The operator is responsible for checking factual claims, source references, media rights, audience settings, disclosures and publication details. AI-generated content and automated quality checks can contain mistakes and do not replace that judgment.
An account connection is permission for the application to request the authorized API functions. It is not approval to publish a particular video. Publication requires the application’s explicit review and approval process for the current video version and metadata.
Platform rules and content rights
The operator must hold the necessary rights to the material used and follow the rules of each destination platform. Using Shorts Factory’s YouTube API features requires agreement to the YouTube Terms of Service. The operator must also follow YouTube’s applicable content policies and Google’s API requirements. Optional TikTok use is subject to TikTok’s applicable terms and publishing rules.
The workflow does not guarantee that a platform will accept, distribute or monetize a video. API access, quotas, account eligibility and platform functionality can change. The operator must respond to restrictions using the platform’s supported processes.
Data and account control
The privacy policy explains local storage, YouTube permissions, external services and optional Codex-assisted performance analysis. Keep local dashboard links, credentials and account access private. You may stop using the application and revoke its Google access through Google Account connections.
Revocation does not remove videos already published or erase local files. The operator manages those separately. No subscription or payment is collected through these information pages.
